Xanga Backgrounds HOWTO

When you click on the image or press sample for desktops (1), you get a popup screen with a preview. Click on the coloured boxes a bit to see how the background works with different text colours. If you like the background, then click "View or download this image (2).

Then right-click on the image and choose "save image as..." to save it on your own computer. It doesn't matter where you save it, just remember where you put it.

• Click Browse (1)
  
• Select the image you just saved in the previous step and click Open (2)
  
• Then click Host it! (3) and you're done uploading!
• Now you will see a bunch of links. Copy-paste the link at "Direct link to image". It will look like this.

• Go to the Look and Feel Editor and find the part that says Background
• At Pic: type in the link you copy-pasted in the previous step.
• Xanga gives you the option to selecting tiling or non-tiling mode. Usually, you will select "Repeat in all directions" for a tileable background and "centered" for a wallpaper.
• Go to the bottom of the page and click Save Changes.
